HOW TO TABLE AND ENGAGE AS A POLITICAL PARTY

WHO ARE OUR SPEAKERS?
CHASE OLIVER
Chase Oliver was the 2024 Libertarian Presidential Candidate and was dubbed “…the most influential Libertarian in America…” by Rolling Stone. Oliver is a champion of the rights of the individual against the growing power of the state as both a candidate and an activist. He began his political activism opposing the War in Iraq under George Bush, aligning with the Libertarian Party after an encounter at the Atlanta Pride Festival in 2010.
In 2020 he ran for Congress in Georgia’s 5th district to complete the term of the late civil rights icon John Lewis. In 2022, he ran for US Senate, debating incumbent Senator Raphael Warnock and Herschel Walker’s empty podium. Oliver was widely credited with causing the runoff election between Warnock and Walker. He advocates the adoption of Ranked Choice Voting to avoid future runoffs.
JO JORGENSEN
Jo Jorgensen is a senior lecturer in psychology at Clemson University and the 2020 Libertarian Party nominee for President of the United States. She previously served as the party’s vice-presidential nominee in 1996 alongside Harry Browne.
Jorgensen earned her B.S. in psychology from Baylor University, an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University, and a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Clemson. Beyond academia, she has worked as a marketing representative for IBM, founded a business consulting firm, co-founded the software company DigiTech, Inc., and launched her own software and technology sales company.
In 2020, Jorgensen became the first woman to top the Libertarian presidential ticket, running on a platform centered on individual liberty, limited government, and free markets.
SPIKE COHEN
After decades of business ownership, Spike shifted his focus to activism, bringing a unique mix of knowledge, passion, and humor to promote liberty. This culminated in becoming the 2020 Libertarian Vice Presidential Candidate, where he traveled across the nation, meeting countless Americans and sharing the message of liberty with them.
Spike is the outward face of You Are The Power, speaking to government officials on behalf of our clients, using his connections and credentials formed during his political campaign to garner media attention. He has spoken at conventions such as Students for Liberty’s annual LibertyCon, Young Americans for Liberty’s YALCon, Freedom Fest, and many more. He has appeared on nationally syndicated shows such as Beyond the Beltway with Bruce Dumont, was a regular guest on Fox Business’s Kennedy show, and continues to make regular appearances on her podcast, Kennedy Saves the World. Spike has also brought the message of liberty to Australian, Canadian, and Russian media. He can be found speaking about You Are The Power on countless podcasts and multiple radio stations across the nation.
